Choosing curtain poles can be a more tricky decision making process than you may think. When choosing curtains, curtain poles almost become insignificant as you browse your favourite colours and look for that perfect design. While you look into different materials and sizes it is easy to forget what these curtains are actually going to hang on and how that can affect the entire look and function of the curtains that you eventually settle on.
Unique You can also go in for beaded curtains if you're looking for something unique and gorgeous. And don't just limit them to beads. Have other adornments like mirrors, bells, shiny balls, ribbons, etc. strung together on nylon or other strong thread to have gorgeous curtains that sway gently in the evening breeze!
4. Create a Hem Fold the edges on the wrong side of the fabric to create a hem and secure it with eyelet tape. You can also pin it, so that it remains in place. Stitch the edges in a uniform method, removing the pins as you go. If you are using a lightweight fabric that will remain secure with the eyelet tape, then sew only the top side, as it needs to be more secure.
Based on the side of the wall this hardware is installed, rod brackets with hinges are available in the market, which practically allow the rods to swing 180 degrees right and left comfortably. Since it is impounded to one side of the wall, the opening of the drapes or the curtains gets easier. This is the beauty and uniqueness of this rod as compared to other ones. Moreover, the fear of not hanging heavy drapes wouldn't occur because a user can attach extra supportive brackets in suitable places so that even if the heavy curtains open and close against a wall or a window, the action is smooth.
