Roll ups are the most popular choice. Plantation shutters are also quite popular. These consist of broad horizontal slats which when opened, allow free flow of air in and out keeping the area fresh and cool. However, you must check out those made in plastic and various composites instead of wood so that they will be perfect for your bathrooms.
A great idea for DIY bay window curtain rods is to make them with the help of dowels. To make these functional bay window curtain rods, you will need a long dowel, decorative drawer knobs, a hand-held drill, a handsaw, T nut bolts and spray paint. First measure the width of all the three window casements of the bay window. Now cut the dowel into three pieces, according to the dimension of the window. If your bay window is not the three window casement style, but consists of one wide window, then you need not cut the dowel at all. Drill holes at the ends of the dowel by attaching a drill bit to a hand-held drill. While drilling holes into the dowel, make sure that it is properly centered. Attach T nut bolts on each holes of the dowels and make sure it is flush with the dowel ends. Screw in the decorative drawer knobs on each end of the dowels. If you want to give the curtain rod a more finished look, then spray paint it with a matt or metallic textured paint. Install curtain rods on the brackets of the bay windows.

Decorating a home is something that everyone enjoys. So, while selecting curtains for your sidelight windows, make sure you use these ideas to give your house an attractive, yet cozy look. A house without curtains and drapes appears to be virtually nude. The over-sized satin drapes cascading down from windows and doors beautify the interiors of a house. One such charming decorative piece are grommet drapes that uplift the aesthetic beauty of a house. Such curtain patterns are usually meant for large windows where they can hang low till ground. The dense satin and silken fabric makes it look gorgeous. The curtains are fitted with grommet rings through which the rod is passed and thus it forms multiple loose creases which flows down in an overlapping fashion.
Before start; the panels needs to be raised a little higher toward the ceiling. Then add a decorative trim band at the top, bottom and inner side. The fabrics are $3.97 per yard and one yard just enough for my project. For my project, I wanted to 3 inches leading edge band trim on the three sides. I cut the 6-1/2 inches strips of the fabrics.
